Melbourne by Anne Bryant
Well, it's 1.20 am in Melbourne, and I am one tired bunny, but I just had to come on line to give you the latest.
Yes, he did it again. Old splaw-foot tripped over a speaker running around in Help Yourself. He recovered very quickly though and continued on without missing a beat!
He also, again, received a standing ovation from the majority of the audience. I would say more than three quarters were on their feet at the end, and there were at least half standing dancing in the party segment.
It was a magic performance from go to woe, and he had the crowd in the palm of his hand.
He looked and sounded as though he was having a 'ball'. He was on such a high that it was transcended to everyone there. He was so excited that he said lets do it again and start from the beginning, to which the audience gave a resounding 'Yes please' lol.
He seemed to put so much into the acting side of the big numbers like Gethsemane and Evita, not to mention Boy from Nowhere.
I have had so much fun these last few days, that it is going to take me a while to calm down. I had a great time with the backing singers, Kay and David who, by the way are SO talented, Kay having heaps of work ahead of her. David is considering trying out in London, so you may see him soon.
I just want to say that I think Michael is one very special and beautiful human being, and I have one question to ask - CAN WE ADOPT HIM!!!!!! Now don't all scream at once
Thank you Michael from the bottom of my heart for allowing me the privilage to witness such brilliance, and get to know such a lovely, down to earth human being.
God bless, and I hope to see you again soon. You said someone only has to ask for a return - well, we're asking.
I have some more stage door photos (as well as cocktail party ones) and will endeavour to get them on the website with Kerstin's help, hopefully. We weren't able to get any concert shots again, so we will have to do with the Wollongong ones.
Well, bye for now, it is now 1.50 am, and am ready to collapse.
