"I wanted to send a message to Fans and Friends in America, especially in New York, which has such a special place in my heart and is the scene of so many wonderful memories for me.

You’re constantly in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you can feel the waves of love, sympathy and outrage coming from everyone in the U.K. and all over the World. I can only imagine how you must all be feeling and the sad thing is that all of our lives have been changed forever.
But we must go on living our lives, making a future and dreaming our dreams even though so many have been taken from us.

I am agonising over what to write in this message…..what I want to say to those who find themselves reading it.

All I think I want to say is we do have each other and we must try to cherish and draw strength from each other and come to terms with what has happened in any way we can…….. and treasure the memories of those we have lost.

Nobody knows what lies in the future but one thing is certain, United we stand.
