Michael Ball: What I love .... and hate
~ Michael Ball host of his own show on STV for Daily Record - 14/082010 ~
TV
I've been watching season eight of 24; I bought Battlestar Galactica, and I finished the whole lot. Lie To Me, the Tim Roth series, I like that one. I love the new Doctor Who, Brilliant. And True Blood is great. I'm really not that loving of snooker and darts and sport on telly in general, though I was hooked on the World Cup. But snooker and cricket on television - is there anything more dull?
FILM
Inception was great. Oh God those Twilight films. Really a bit dull. I love a vampire movie, but this is kind of vampire light. Nothing happens. They just look at each other. Another long, lingering look. JUST BITE HER! [laughs] I'm not keen on war films. I think the real thing is far more upsetting. Those really gritty hard action movies. Ew.
FOOD
I'm eating a lot of Japanese food at the moment, and I love Italian recipes. They do some amazing food over there. Best meal, absolutely one of my own homemade Sunday roasts with all the trimmings. My least favourite meal would be a stew where someone has put a swede in it because I hate swede and it poisons everything it goes into. That's all you can taste. |
