Cathy's daughter was 16 when Michael and Cathy met for the first time. Since then they became good friends. Cathy moved to Manchester in 1995 before she came back to London with her boy-friend Dean months before Connor was born on 28th April 1999. Michael became little Connors godfather. When Michael did his Millennium concert in Kuala Lumpur Dean and Emma took the chance and used the trip over there to marry.

On 30th October 2001 Emma gave birth to her second child: Grace Catherine.
